Known for their potent spice notes—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and vanilla—Amburana casks require expert blending to maintain balance. The BCS blending team rose to the challenge by creating a bourbon blend from two mash bills with varying char levels and finishing it in Amburana casks. To ensure the bourbon’s character shines through while adding depth, richness, and complexity, a vatting of individual casks without finishing was layered into the blend. This exclusive blend has a limited production of only 14,400 bottles, epitomizing the mantra “Blended to never blend in.”
