Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin is an exquisite tribute to the vibrant city of Victoria, British Columbia, known affectionately as the ‘City of Gardens’. This unique gin is crafted with a blend of natural botanicals that reflect the floral abundance of Victoria, where flowers bloom nearly year-round. Each batch is meticulously distilled in copper pot stills, combining traditional craftsmanship with botanical innovation to create a gin that is both a visual and sensory delight.
Captivating Aesthetic and Natural Ingredients:
The vibrant ruby hue of Empress Elderflower Rose Gin is derived from all-natural sources including red rose petals and black carrot, contributing to its stunning appearance without the use of artificial colors or stabilizers. This natural pigmentation not only enhances the visual appeal of the gin but also adds a layer of depth to its flavor profile, making it a standout addition to any cocktail.
Tasting Experience:
Nose: A bright floral bouquet dominates, with subtle notes of citrus and a gentle sweetness from elderflower.
Palate: The flavor is elegantly floral yet surprisingly understated, with elderflower and rose providing a soft, aromatic sweetness. This is balanced by the zestiness of orange peel and a hint of spice, resulting in a complex yet harmonious taste.
Finish: The finish is clean with a touch of lavender and a lingering hint of sweetness, making it refreshingly crisp and inviting.
A Symphony of Botanicals:
Empress Elderflower Rose Gin features a carefully selected blend of botanicals, including juniper, elderflower, lavender, orange peel, and red rose petals. Each element is chosen for its ability to contribute to the gin’s distinctive flavor and striking appearance, offering a taste of Victoria’s blooming gardens in every sip.
