Laws Whiskey House Honey Cask Finish Bourbon begins as Laws’ Four Grain straight bourbon, matured in new charred oak and then finished in a distinctive honey-seasoned barrel program. After the bourbon barrels are emptied, a Colorado apiary fills those barrels with honey. Once the honey is harvested, Laws refills the barrels with bourbon for additional maturation, allowing the honey-coated oak to add a gentle, natural sweetness and a lifted floral-citrus character.
